The Making of a Duvet-Inspired Outfit

The Making of a Duvet-Inspired Outfit

Winter in Riga is not just a season — it’s a full-body experience. The cold creeps in early, lingers late, and often makes you want to do nothing more than stay in bed, wrapped tightly in your duvet. This familiar feeling became the starting point for one of this creation.

The idea was simple — what if you could take that wrapped-up-in-bed feeling outside with you?

We wanted to create something that felt like armor against the cold, yet didn’t sacrifice style or shape. The result is a bold, sculptural look made up of oversized, baggy trousers and a cropped hooded jacket. It’s an intentional contrast — wide, enveloping forms that still play with proportion and structure. The large hood, boxy upper silhouette, and flowing trousers create a silhouette that feels protective, strong, and still effortless.

But what truly defines this piece is the material. We sourced a 100% polyester outer fabric, the same kind often used in duvets or technical outerwear. Beneath that is a heating layer for insulation, and on the inside — a soft fleece lining to ensure that no cold makes its way in. Every element of the outfit was chosen to prioritize warmth, comfort, and wearability, without compromising the aesthetics we care about.

This piece is more than just winter clothing — it’s a reflection of how we live, where we are, and how we want to feel. Not hidden from the cold, but ready for it. Wrapped, protected, and still standing out.

All pieces are made on demand. We’re open to working together on custom designs and personal projects.
