Deconstructed Ballon fit Jeans

Deconstructed Ballon fit Jeans

For this piece, I wanted to experiment with structure and rethink how jeans could be shaped around the body without following the usual straight or tapered lines. I started with a deconstructed balloon fit pattern, building the pants in separate curved panels that wrap around the sides. The idea was to create movement and volume, almost like the fabric was forming a soft, circular frame around the legs.

One of my favorite details is the "waistband-free" illusion. From the outside, the jeans look like they have no waistband at all, just a clean and continuous surface. But inside, there’s a hidden waistband that holds everything together and keeps the fit secure. It gives this strange mix of structure and freedom, like the jeans are both built and undone at the same time.

The fit is oversized, intentionally emphasizing the balloon shape, and has been distressed and bleached by hand. The process makes it unique, the bleach patterns, the fading, the texture...  all change depending on how the denim reacts.

This project was about exploring balance: between design and imperfection, control and spontaneity.

All pieces are made on demand. We’re open to working together on custom designs and personal projects.
